On Wednesday Tigers GM Erick showed his interest in a top 10 Draft Pick, Erick stated "The Tiger will trade an MLB Player or a Prospect for the Draft Pick." He also said to all the GMs "Just let me know who you would want."
When BMJ Insider Craig Peters caught up with Erick to ask him about his sudden interest in a top 10 Draft Pick he said "Tigers like a couple of players in the
8-12 range and we have the #8 pick, and want that second top pick to get both
players. Dont love many top 5 picks, but feel 8-12 is the place we wanna be.
Thats why we traded #3 pick to move back to #8."
