The DBacks GM said this about the Trade "Felt like this was the best time to trade Reinita. I've got a great catching prospect on the rise and will be ready next season and with Kellin Deglan manning the starting spot right now, Reinita will no longer be useful within another year. I get a good 1B prospect who, if he gets another jump, could be a possible replacement for Daric Barton, backup catcher in Maldonardo, and a catching prospect I like in Steve Rose. Give up Verity, who is a solid bench guy but no room for him on my bench."
