Stahce talks about the Downfall of the Cubs

Question 1: How does it feel to have been so close to the playoffs and come up short by three games?

Answer,  it feels good, a lot of teams didn't think we would hit .500, but it is also disappointing, granted we were commited to the rebuild we felt we would fall in around the record we ended up with and we hate the fact the only reason we fell short was due to only winning 4 of our last 15, whether we were suppose to make the playoffs or not that was just unacceptable.

Question 2: Why do you think you only won 4 of your last 15?

Answer, That i do not know, we faced some good teams but that was just shocking, you could say Zimmerman could have come off the DL sooner, you know for a fact reports will be about that, but that didn't hurt us, our rotation is strong without him, we just faltered as a team all together, and it shouldn't have happened, we couldn't control the games we needed to specifically against the astros who took our place in the wild card game

Question 3: Will we see changes in Chciago because of this downfall?

Answer, Of course we are always looking for ways to improve our team, but to say  we are tearing it up, no we won't be doing that, we came close, we have a young team and we are still improving. Next year could be a whole different story when we have young players like Chano, Allen, Gallagher, Macognahy, Vanalstyne, among others within a season away from being productive members on a playoff caliber club we are in better shape now than i kind of expected to be.

Question 4: Final Question, Who is the key player on your team, or MVP?

Answer,  there is no mvp or key player on our team, not that we don't have players that could go win the mvp award....it's simply i  don't place that type of value on my players because they have to work together. Gary has to get on for the players like Bruce and Mitchell, Brumbaurgh is the guy who has to drive people in and get on for them as well, and then at the bottom of the order we have guys like Barner and Mutley who have to drive the middle of the order in as well as get on for our pitcher to move them along with a bunt for the top of the order. then of course you can't win without pitching, we got a lot of it, and it goes from the top of the rotation where we got 6 capable aces to Ramos at the back of the game they all have to do their job for us to win.
