The Future Hall Of Famer Ichiro Suzuki announced his retirement on June 20th 2021 as he was playing in West and North Baseball Leagues. Ichiro is an 11 time All-Star, a 12 time Gold Glove, and a 1time MVP & Rookie of the year. Ichiro retired with 3831 Hits and a .316 Batting Average. You could argue that Ichiro is the greatest contact hitter ever considering he has the single season hit record with 262 in 2004. Ichiro was also a force to be recon with in the playoffs considering he had a .316 Batting Average and 61 hits in 54 games.
Ichiro is the best Japanese player of all-time and will be the first Japanese player in the Hall Of Fame. You will be missed Ichiro.
